This is not my... Water

Clearly we are having a lack of water issue.
But what can we do about it... |

All sorts of things according to the Environment Agency including:
- Washing vegetables in a bowl rather than under a running tap
- Using all leftover water for watering house plants.
Boiling the minimum required when making a cuppa. - Waiting to do laundry till there is a full load.
- Turning the tap off while cleaning teeth.
- Quicker showering (we also like the Aussie idea of shower sharing!)
- Reducing water used by old toilet cisterns by placing a ‘save-a-flush’ or ‘hippo’ in them. Get one free from Anti- Apathy. (Apparently a filled water bottle also helps but bricks aren't that great as they disintegrate).
- Flushing only when needed. (So no flusing of tissues / cotton wool and.... maybe not after a number one.... - my hse mate has banned me from not - I will blame her when we need a stand pipe!)
- Fixing leaking taps (often they just need a new washer).
- Making sure pipes aren't leaking.
I guess also avoiding water bombs / use of paddling pools and - sniff - the slip and slide...
Get saving that water - then maybe we can bring them back next year!!
