This is not my... sleep in.

When is the one time that we don't use any energy (assuming of course that our TV's are not on standby and our lights are off...)?

When we are sleeping!

So when we are late for work, school, family weddings etc our oversleeping can be justified entirely because we are - for the good of others (of course) - saving the planet.

The Campaign Against Climate Change have declared September 16th as a National Day of Action.

In order to highlight how much less energy we use when we are not sleeping and - a bit more importantly - how much we do when we are not - we thought we would have a 5 minute point-making snooze and invite anyone who wants to come and join us.

The more the merrier.

Time: Mid day

Date: 16th September

Place: Lincoln's Inn Fields

Dress: As you are... for bed... or in something a little more comfortable!

Bring: A pillow, a teddy, a bed if you are feeling keen...

The Campaign march from outside the Exxon offices in Aldwych starts at 12.30 so we will be right round the corner to head there after and join in for some - slightly more active - merriment!

Hope to see you there. Any questions - just drop me a line at susie@thisisnotmy.co.uk x
