Terms and Conditions
By agreeing to advertise with This is not my Ltd you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. This is not my Ltd advise that you seek independent legal advice if you have any concerns in relation to these terms and conditions.
The term 'advertiser' means the party booking the advertising space and it is this party who is responsible for payment.
The term 'publisher' means This is not my Ltd
All advertisements are accepted subject to the approval of the Publisher and are placed at its discretion. The Publisher may alter advertisements in any way it considers necessary. The Publisher will notify the Advertiser of its intention and if no objection is received to the proposed alterations within 2 days of the date of postage of the notification the Publisher will consider the altered advertisement acceptable.
The Publisher reserves the right to decline, omit or suspend publication of any or part of any advertisement, without giving notice or reason.
Although the best efforts will be made to comply with the wishes of the Advertiser, publication and display of the advertisement is not guaranteed on any particular day or in any particular position. The Publisher reserves the right to omit or suspend any advertisement, even if it has already been accepted for publication.
Advertisements must conform to the British Code of Advertising Practice or any other codes of practice provided by the Advertising Standards Authority. The Publisher is indemnified from all liabilities should a situation arise where advertisements do not accurately reflect the product and or service being advertised.
The Advertiser will not place any advertisement that is defamatory to a third party. All claims made in advertisements must be capable of being supported by appropriate evidence, which must be made available to the Publisher upon request.
Advertisements are subject to the Publisher's approval and their publication does not constitute the Publisher’s endorsement of the Advertiser, its products or its services.
The Publisher does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by an error, inaccuracy or omission in the publication of the advertisement from any cause whatsoever. The Publisher will not accept liability for any error on the part of third parties.
The Advertiser shall be responsible for confirming the contents of advertising. The Publisher makes no warranties as to the accuracy of the advertisement. The Publisher reserves the right to make any alteration it considers necessary to an advertisement or to use the most appropriate copy should copy instructions not be received by the stipulated time.
All materials are sent to the Publisher at the Advertisers risk. The Publisher accepts no responsibility for their safekeeping.
Artwork must be supplied as an electronic file in Microsoft Word, InDesign or PDF format on a CD or by email. Images and fonts must be supplied separately. Repro work, setting or amendments carry an additional charge of £35. No work will take place and no charges levied without the written consent of the Advertiser.
The Publisher may retain information supplied by the Advertisers for a reasonable time.
If an advertisement is not published due to cancellation, delay or an act of omission by the advertiser, payment must be made in full.
Advertisements will only be accepted on payment with order.
Payment should be made by cheque.
The publisher reserves the right to increase advertisement rates or to amend the terms and conditions at any time.
The laws of England and Wales govern these terms and conditions.
